System error codes
The code appears on the display. Check the causes from top to bottom.

| Error 21 | Abnormal current | Power supply; battery, controller, or docking cable. | Check all cables and re-tighten the connectors — also the cables from the battery to the controller and from the controller to the motor. Check the battery connector for oxidation. If this does not help, the controller may need to be replaced. |
| Error 22 | Throttle fault | Throttle/controller. Rarely occurs. | Check the operation of the controller. |
| Error 23 | Motor phase problem | Interruption in motor plug or cable. | Check and tighten connectors. Replace motor cable. |
| Error 24 | Motor hall defect | Motor is defective internally. | Replace motor or replace internal components. |
| Error 25 | Brake sensor defective | Brake sensor defective, interrupted, or disconnected. | Check the brake sensor and wiring; replace the sensor if necessary. |
| Error 30 | Communication error | Communication failure. Check wiring, connectors, display, software, and controller. | Replace components, starting with the button set and then the cables. |
Most Mobi error codes arise from a poor cable connection or oxidation on a connector. Check those first before replacing parts.
Nokee color display
If the bike has a Nokee color display, the following codes may also be shown.

Kingmeter display (black-white)
On the older Kingmeter display without colors, the following error codes apply.

| Error 21 | Irregular power supply | Battery problem, defective controller, or damaged docking cable. | Check the battery connection and cables. If this does not help, replace the controller. |

| Error 23 | Problem with motor phases | Cable break or a bad connection. | Check the wiring and the plugs. |
| Error 24 | Defect in the motor. | Internal motor damage. | The motor needs to be replaced or repaired. |
| Error 25 | Problem with brake sensor. | Defective sensor, cable break, or a brake that remains active. | Check the brake levers and cables, or replace the sensor. |
| Error 30 | Communication failure. | Damaged cables, loose plugs, or a software issue. | Check the connections and software, or have the system checked. |
