Problem description
The motor provides no assistance or makes unusual noises.
When a loose motor is connected to the system, the system functions properly. Therefore, the cause lies in the current motor.

Solution: replace internal motor
REQUIRED TIME
± 15 minutes
REQUIRED TOOLS
- Torx T20
- 15 mm combination wrench
- 15 mm offset wrench
Step-by-step plan
1. Remove the front wheel
- Take the front wheel out of the bike.
- Remove the spacer rings from the axle. Note during assembly: the lip of the locking mechanism points down.
2. Disassemble the internal motor
- Loosen the six Torx T20 bolts.
- Gently tap the axle with a plastic hammer on the side of the brake disc.
3. Replace the internal motor
- Remove the internal motor from the wheel.
- Place the new internal motor in the front wheel.

4. Attach the new motor
- Tighten the six Torx bolts evenly.
Tightening torque: 3 – 5 Nm
Pay attention to the following points:
- The lip of the retaining ring must point downwards.
- The motor cable must also point downwards (see step 1 for reference).
- Mount the wheel correctly in the fork.
- Tighten the axle nuts.
Tightening torque: 25 – 30 Nm
7. Connect the motor cable
- Connect the motor cable to the system cable.
- Ensure that the arrows on both connectors point towards each other for a proper connection.

8. Test the operation of the system
- Turn on the bike and check if the motor functions correctly.
- Listen for normal sounds and test the assistance while cycling.
